ICIAM Maxwell Prize

The Maxwell Prize was established to provide international recognition to a mathematician who has demonstrated originality in applied mathematics.

The prize was created on the initiative of the International Mathematics Association (IMA), with the support of the James Clerk Maxwell Foundation, and was first awarded in 1999. It is presently funded by IMA and the James Clerk Maxwell Foundation.

At present the prize winner will receive an honorarium of 5000 USD, will not pay the registration fee to the congress, and will have travel and living expenses covered by the organizers.
