Dianoia was first issued in January 2013 and typically (with just a few exceptions) there were four issues per year. From 2013 to 2018 Dianoia was a physical newsletter. In 2019 it became an online newsletter. From 2013 to 2024 Barbara Keyfitz was the editor-in-chief. In 2025 the above editorial board took over the production of Dianoia.
