The International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) is a worldwide organization for professional applied mathematics societies, and for other societies with a significant interest in industrial or applied mathematics. The representatives of the current ICIAM member societies, together with the ICIAM Officers and the next International Congress Scientific Program Committee Chair and Director, comprise the ICIAM Board.
The purpose of the Council is:
- to promote industrial and applied mathematics internationally;
- to promote interactions between the member societies;
- to promote the goals of these member societies;
- to coordinate planning for periodic international meetings on industrial and applied mathematics.
